OUR IDEAL HVAC ESTIMATOR/PROJECT MANAGER:

As our Commercial HVAC Estimator/Project Manager, your expertise will shine as you analyze drawings and specifications to craft estimates, coordinating resources and materials for seamless project execution. This role is responsible for preparing precise estimates, bids, and proposals for HVAC systems in commercial construction projects. You'll work as part of a collaborative team to develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring every detail is perfectly aligned with budgets and timelines. Through clear communication and efficient planning, you'll unite stakeholders and guarantee project success.

We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:

• Journeyperson Sheet Metal Certification


• 2+ years’ experience in HVAC estimating and project management in the mechanical contracting industry


• Strong knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems in commercial applications


• Proficiency with blueprint reading and construction documentation


• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate takeoffs and cost breakdowns


• Experience using QuoteSoft and Excel


• Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

And who can manage these responsibilities:

• Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications for commercial construction projects


• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, takeoffs and bids for projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses


• Analyze labour, material, and equipment requirements to create accurate and competitive proposals


• Communicate and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution


• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain updated material pricing and availability


• Develop and maintain project timelines, managing schedules with site supervisors and field crews


• Monitor project costs, track expenses, and bill jobs for clients ensuring financial efficiency


• Ensure projects adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices


• Source and order materials, ensuring timely delivery to job sites


• Maintain project records, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports


• Address any project challenges, delays, or conflicts in a timely manner Plan, execute, and oversee commercial HVAC projects from start to finish


• Track awarded and pending projects, maintaining communication with contractors and internal teams.
