Network Security Analyst in Toronto

Elevate your career with Mindlance as a Network Security Analyst in Toronto. This role focuses on risk assessment and supporting audit engagements, with 4 days onsite each week. Mindlance is seeking a Network Security Analyst for a 12-month contract in Toronto. You will conduct risk assessments for firewall rule requests and assist in audit activities including evidence collection and tracking. Ideal candidates have strong cybersecurity knowledge and experience in regulatory environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform risk assessments for firewall rules requests
- Support audit and regulatory engagements effectively
- Manage audit issues and ensure timely reporting
- Certification in firewall technologies like Check Point or Cisco ASA
- Knowledge of IT risk management and security exposures
- Experience with audit engagements and issue management
- Strong understanding of OSI model and network protocols
- Degree in Computer Science or 3+ years’ experience
