Manufacturing Engineer for Automotive Processes

Strengthen automotive manufacturing processes as a Manufacturing Engineer. This role emphasizes efficiency, utilizing Lean principles and engineering expertise to drive improvements. With 3-5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing, you will focus on optimizing production processes and conducting feasibility studies for future projects. Your role includes designing experiments to enhance workflow efficiency and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement engineering changes effectively. Knowledge in APQP practices and quality management systems will be critical to your success. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and improve manufacturing process efficiencies
- Conduct feasibility studies for equipment purchases
- Assist in the development of tooling and specifications
- Implement corrective actions and conduct audits
- Collaborate on engineering changes with teams
- 3-5 years in high-volume automotive manufacturing
- Engineering degree, preferably mechanical/manufacturing
- Knowledge of CAD, quality management, and Lean principles
- Experience with APQP, PPAP, and problem-solving tools
- Familiarity with ERP systems and automation theory
