Senior Business Analyst - Pension Transformation

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a complex Pension Transformation initiative on a short-term client project, with an immediate start preferred. This role will work across business, operations, finance, compliance, technology, and external vendors to bring structure and clarity to a highly complex transformation environment

The ideal candidate will bring strong senior-level transformation experience, with direct pensions experience highly preferred. Experience with pension administration, pension operations, pension platform migration/replacement, recordkeeping transformation, or pension administration outsourcing would be particularly relevant. Strong Financial Services or Insurance transformation experience may also be considered.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:?

• Review and clarify the existing requirements backlog, identifying gaps, duplication, inconsistencies, and unresolved decisions.
• Map and validate current-state and future-state business processes, including roles, handoffs, dependencies, controls, and process gaps.
• Facilitate working sessions with business stakeholders, SMEs, project teams, technology teams, and external vendors to clarify requirements and drive decisions.
• Translate business requirements into clear deliverables, dependencies, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and requirements traceability.
• Support data migration, system integration, reconciliation, testing/UAT, and operational readiness activities.
• Work across business and technology teams to ensure requirements are understood, validated, and aligned throughout the transformation lifecycle.
• Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, requirement gaps, and outstanding decisions that could impact the program critical path or go-live.
• Bring structure to ambiguous or incomplete requirements and independently drive analysis through to resolution

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU'LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

• Senior Business Analyst experience supporting complex transformation programs.

  Strong experience with business process mapping, requirements elicitation, requirements documentation, and stakeholder facilitation.

• Experience supporting data migration, integrations, testing/UAT, reconciliation, and requirements traceability.
• Strong preference for pensions experience, particularly within pension administration, pension operations, or pension transformation.
• Experience with pension administration outsourcing, pension platform migration/replacement, or recordkeeping transformation is highly desirable.
• Strong Financial Services or Insurance transformation experience may be considered where direct pensions experience is limited.
• Experience working within regulated or highly controlled environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across business, finance, operations, compliance, technology, and external vendor teams.
• Strong facilitation and decision-support skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and bring structure and clarity to ambiguous or incomplete requirements.
