Join people Care in Delhi, ON as a Temporary Assistant Director of Care for six months. This full time role emphasizes clinical excellence and staff mentorship in nursing practice.
You will work closely with nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care and support. Reporting to the Director of Care, your key duties include overseeing clinical programs and providing essential educational resources. In addition, you'll participate in performance reviews and manage nursing department responsibilities in the director's absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute duties assigned by nursing leadership
- Monitor mandatory clinical programs
- Deliver educational resources effectively
- Engage in performance appraisals of nursing staff
- Lead initiatives to ensure workplace safety
Requirements
- Must have current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Experience in Long-Term Care environments
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Commitment to health and safety compliance
- Awareness of latest industry trends
