Our client is seeking a Sr. Mineral Land Analyst to join their team. As a Sr. Mineral Land Analyst, you will be part of the Land Management Department supporting the Mineral Lease and Contracts team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Description

• Review and align land records in the corporate database to data standards, procedural documents, and consistency manuals to maintain data integrity.
• Lead the land expiry process, including follow-up on expiry/continuations and government/freehold notifications to geologists, negotiators, and partners.
• Develop and improve processes and procedures related to land management activities.
• Process external and internal inquiries efficiently and accurately.
• Generate complex land maps and extract data from various systems to support land management decisions.

Qualifications

• Five (5) to eight (8) years of oil and gas land administration experience.
• Graduate of a recognized land program or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Active member of LEMAC or equivalent professional organization.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
