Develop your expertise as a SCADA and Communications Specialist with TransEd, focusing on critical signalling systems for the Valley Line LRT in Edmonton. TransEd is seeking a SCADA and Communications Specialist with 2 to 4 years of experience in railway transit. You will maintain and troubleshoot communication systems and provide guidance to junior team members while ensuring high standards in service delivery. Collaboration with project teams will be essential for safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and troubleshoot Communications and Signalling systems
• Guide and mentor less experienced team members
• Conduct equipment testing and operational checks
• Operate necessary maintenance machinery efficiently
• Update system software and track maintenance records Requirements:
• 2 to 4 years in rail transportation or signalling
• Certificate in a relevant technical field
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and drawings
• Prior experience in facility maintenance roles
