Accounting Clerk

We currently have opportunities for an Accounting Clerk in our Finance Department located in our Richardson Building in Winnipeg. Accounting Clerks contribute to the financial reporting requirements for the company. Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable/receivable and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Enter, match, and code supplier invoices; reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies
• Liaise with vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing
• Prepare and process payment batches, including cheques and wire transfers
• Apply and allocate incoming customer payments to outstanding invoices

Qualifications:

• Office experience preferred; AP/AR experience is an asset
• Relevant accounting education and/or experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skill
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
