This is a full-time co-op position based in Laval, Canada from January to June. Candidates must be available for the entire duration of the program. Reporting to the Site Supply Chain Lead and working closely with the Site Planning team, the Supply Chain Planning Co-Op will support planning activities for Moderna's Laval manufacturing site. The co‑op provides hands‑on experience in a GMP manufacturing environment and exposure to key Supply Chain processes, including production planning, material availability, inventory management, master data and performance monitoring.

The co‑op will collaborate with Site Planning and cross‑functional partners including Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, Material Planning and Digital. The role will also provide exposure to Moderna's digital planning environment and the opportunity to contribute to a defined Supply Chain improvement project.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Support production planning and scheduling, including preparation and review of planning information, production orders and short‑term manufacturing requirements.

Support material and inventory planning by performing material availability checks, monitoring inventory and helping identify potential shortages or supply risks.

Support planning data and performance monitoring, including master‑data reviews, Supply Chain KPIs, reporting and analysis of planning or execution gaps.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, Material Planning and Digital, and participate in selected planning and Supply Chain governance meetings.

Support continuous improvement and digital planning activities, identifying opportunities to improve planning processes, data visibility, reporting and efficiency.

Potential project areas may include: Planning KPI and performance visibility, Material readiness and inventory analysis, Master‑data accuracy and improvement, Planning dashboards and reporting automation, Standardization or documentation of planning processes.

The project should include current‑state assessment, data analysis, identification of improvement opportunities and development of a proposed solution or tool, with results presented to the Site Supply Chain team at the end of the co‑op.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Science or a related discipline.

Strong interest in Supply Chain, manufacturing and production planning.

Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills with an interest in working with data.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross‑functional team environment.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization or analytical tools is an asset.

Exposure to SAP, ERP or planning systems is an asset but not required.

Previous internship/co‑op academic project or work experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical/biotechnology or Supply Chain is an asset but not required.

Ability and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced, regulated manufacturing environment.

Bilingual French/English.

La fourchette salariale pour ce poste est de $26.60 - $29.40. Cette fourchette représente le salaire de base minimal et maximal que nous prévoyons offrir pour ce poste selon notre structure de rémunération actuelle. Le salaire de base réellement offert à chaque employé est déterminé avec diligence, en tenant compte de facteurs tels que l’expérience pertinente, les compétences, les qualifications, la formation, le rendement et les besoins de l’entreprise. Nous révisons régulièrement les fourchettes salariales et la rémunération individuelle afin d’assurer notre compétitivité par rapport au marché externe et de maintenir l’équité interne conformément aux principes de rémunération et de transparence salariale de l’entreprise.

The salary range for this role is $26.60 - $29.40. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay we expect to pay for this position based on our current compensation structure.

The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation or an equity award, subject to applicable plan eligibility terms and individual performance.
