Supply Chain Coordinator

JMJ Aerospace is looking for 2 Supply Chain Coordinators for our client in Dorval, QC. It is a full time position.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains vendor relations and partnerships
  


• Responsible for the entire procurement process from RFQ coordination and PO issuance until material is received and invoiced correctly
  


• Handling of material requests
  


• Generates daily status reports and performs all required actions to ensure timely delivery
  


• Coordinates with the company’s Supply Chain Organization to ensure on time and complete delivery
  


• Coordinates with the logistics branch of the company to ensure transparency of entire supply chain
  


• Manages inventory levels, lead times, and costs for locally stocked material
  


• Ensures compliance of procurement activities with government regulations, company guidelines and policies as well as contractual agreements.
  


• Assists in continuous improvement initiatives relating but not limited to process implementations, daily work instruction and procedure development
  


• Coordinates activities with production scheduling and planning
  


• Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements
  


• Performs other duties as assigned by Supply Chain Manager
  


• Performs additional duties as assigned by Supervisor, Supply Chain
  

Profil

Conditions

• College degree and/or work related equivalent
  


• Three to five years’ minimum experience in MRP-based manufacturing environment
  


• Preferably working experience in a Purchasing capacity
  


• Ability to interpret drawings and BOM requirements
  


• Good interpersonal and communication skills
  


• Strong team player.

• Ability to travel for training and exchanges
  


• Passport for international travel required
