Responsibilities
- Assess risk and develop restructuring strategies for defaulted or deteriorating loans, making credit recommendations accordingly.
- Support and supervise clients to restore profitability.
- Maintain effective communication and negotiate terms of agreements with stakeholders.
- Monitor the managed portfolio to ensure quality.
- Act as a sector‑specific expert within the bank.
- Promote a win‑win client approach.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, accounting, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience, including experience as an Agribusiness or Commercial Account Manager or in commercial credit risk management.
- Mastery of commercial products, guarantees, and processes.
- Knowledge of restructuring or collection processes.
- Negotiation skills, agility, and client‑centricity.
- Ability to manage priorities and difficult relationships.
- Availability for travel.
- Proficiency in English and French (must serve clients who speak a language other than French).
