Senior Financial analyst - Large public company - Montreal - Hybrid

Overview

Senior Financial Analyst — Permanent — Downtown Montreal (Hybrid) — Salary: 90,000 to 115,000 plus bonus.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of month-ends and monthly closings


• Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying trends and opportunities


• Implement analyses to ensure the reliability of provisions and support decision-making


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis for decision-making


• Contract and complex transactions analysis


• Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes


• Participating in various finance projects and coordinating with colleagues


• Collaborating with operational and finance team

Qualifications

• CPA or CPA candidate


• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, ideally in audit/accounting firm and/or in a public environment


• IFRS experience is a must


• Team player, detail oriented and curious


• Proficiency in English; French functional ideally
