Senior Manager, Community Engagement Events
The Toronto Public Library Foundation
Drive impactful community engagement and fundraising tactics with the Toronto Public Library Foundation as the Senior Manager of Events and Community Engagement. This strategic role operates in a hybrid work environment. You will report to the Director of Donor Experience, leading a diverse range of events designed to strengthen donor relationships and expand the Foundation's outreach. Your responsibilities encompass strategic planning, operational management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences. This role also focuses on evaluating past events for continuous development. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead 20 annual stewardship and fundraising events
- Develop innovative event concepts based on research
- Collaborate across teams for seamless execution
- Manage vendor relationships and budgets
- Capture insights for planning efficiency
- 5–7 years in event management
- Experience with donor engagement initiatives
- Proven skills in budget management
- Background in managing direct reports
- Familiarity with technology tools for events
