Senior Indigenous SCM Engagement Specialist (Winnipeg)

Step into a strategic role with AltaGas as a Senior Indigenous SCM Engagement Specialist. Focus on building lasting connections with Indigenous communities and optimizing Indigenous participation in our projects. As the central figure in this role, you will develop and sustain relationships vital to our supply chain efforts. Working alongside Public Affairs and Indigenous Relations teams, you will act as a liaison to promote opportunities for Indigenous businesses. Your experience will play a key role in ensuring our commitments to Indigenous inclusion are reflected in all operations. Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities Act as a liaison for business and contractor opportunities Develop and recommend Indigenous firms for inclusion in RFPs Review contract compliance and socio-economic plans Manage databases of Indigenous business outcomes Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines At least 10 years in Supply Chain or Indigenous Relations Comprehensive understanding of Indigenous engagement Solid interpersonal and negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Office applications
