Director of Analytics

MaintainX is seeking a highly strategic and data-driven Director of Analytics to lead our analytics function and drive data-informed decision-making across the company. This role will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy, building a high-performing analytics team, and delivering actionable insights to support product development, customer success, marketing, and sales.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy that aligns with MaintainX's business objectives.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing analytics team to support business units across the organization.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to deliver data-driven insights that inform strategy and decision-making.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to track key business and performance metrics.
• Establish and refine data governance, data integrity, and best practices to ensure high-quality analytics.
• Lead advanced analytics initiatives, including predictive modeling, segmentation, and experimentation (e.g., A/B testing) to drive business impact.
• Act as a thought leader in data and analytics, educating stakeholders and promoting a data-driven culture within the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in analytics, business intelligence, and data science.

About you:

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to build and scale analytics functions in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Expertise in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode), and experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Strong experience with statistical analysis, experimentation, and machine learning concepts.
• Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline) preferred.
