Join Ontario Power Generation as a Litigation Counsel in Toronto, on-site, and deliver strategic legal support for regulatory and commercial litigation. Provide expertise and advice at all organizational levels. In this regular role, you will report directly to the Assistant General Counsel and play a pivotal part in advising various client groups on legal matters. Your experience in regulatory, energy, and commercial law will be essential in navigating complex litigation cases while contributing to OPG's mission to enhance public outreach and education regarding its operations. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide timely, high-quality legal advice on litigation matters
• Stay updated on statutory changes and case law relevant to OPG
• Research and resolve legal issues, offering risk-based options
• Educate internal partners about pertinent legal developments
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders Requirements:
• Juris Doctor or LLB degree with Law Society of Ontario membership
• 3-5 years of litigation experience in relevant legal areas
• Familiarity with regulated industries like utilities or energy
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
