Assistant Manager Early Learning Centre

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Assistant Manager to join our West Market Street team. This role works closely with the Centre Manager to support daily operations, staff supervision, and program quality while helping maintain a positive and well-organized learning environment.
The Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and fostering a strong, team-focused culture.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging play-based environment for children
Assist with staff supervision, scheduling, and day-to-day support
Step into a leadership role when the Centre Manager is away
Help maintain compliance with Saskatchewan childcare licensing requirements
Support program planning and implementation alongside educators
Assist with onboarding and training new staff
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative team culture
Maintain open, professional communication with families
Ensure the centre remains organized, clean, and well-equipped
Assist with administrative tasks, record-keeping, and documentation Qualifications & Requirements ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification (Level 3 preferred)
Experience in a childcare or early learning setting
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset
Strong understanding of childcare best practices and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to support, guide, and motivate team members
Professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach
Passion for early childhood education and community-focused work
