Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite proficiently to draft, format, and edit documents and presentations.
Assist with conveyancing administration, including preparing, organizing, and tracking real estate transaction documents and file materials.
Support conveyancers and legal staff with opening, maintaining, and closing real estate files in accordance with firm procedures.
Coordinate file-related information and follow-up items to help ensure real estate transactions progress accurately and on time.
Conduct conflict of interest searches to ensure compliance.
Open and close client files following firm procedures.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution.
Perform additional duties as required to support the legal team and office operations.
Prepare, transcribe, and organize general correspondence and legal documents across various practice areas with accuracy and attention to detail.
Manage and maintain legal and administrative files, ensuring proper indexing and tracking.
Receive, sort, and prioritize files and maintain an up-to-date calendar to ensure timely responses and deadlines are met
