Help shape the future of Opportunities for Canadians Institute as a Board Member in Ottawa, ON. This full-time hybrid role focuses on strategic direction, accountability, and stakeholder engagement. As a key player in this mission-driven organization, you will support strategic initiatives and enhance program effectiveness. Responsibilities include attending board and committee meetings, reviewing materials, and offering valuable insights on partnerships and risk management. Engage with community partners, support fundraising efforts, and represent the Institute at key events to promote its mission. Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare for and attend board and committee meetings
• Review reports and proposals to inform discussions
• Support fundraising initiatives and stakeholder engagement
• Build relationships with community partners
• Collaborate closely with the leadership team Requirements:
• Expertise in Finance and analytical skills
• Proven experience in Research and data analysis
• Background in Fundraising and donor relations
• Previous board or advisory experience preferred
