• Candidates working in this post are appointed to provide practical and strategic advice to management on a wide variety of labour and employment law and other legal issues at this post.
• Applicants at this post are also required to keep abreast of any changes to the relevant legislative and jurisprudential frameworks working at this post.
• Candidates are also appointed at this post to draft, review, and revise agreements, contracts, policies and other legal documents to ensure Canada Post meets statutory and regulatory requirements working at this post.
• Candidates appointed to this post are required to represent management in labour arbitration hearings, and other proceedings, and manage external counsel working at this post.

Job requirement

• Candidates must have completed s law degree from a recognized institution and membership in good standing with a provincial bar to be eligible for this post.
• Applicants for this post must have completed 3-7 years of post-call experience to be preferred for this post.
• Candidates must have 3-7 years of experience practising labour and employment law and litigation to be eligible for this post.
• Applicants must attain prior excellent communication skills, proven leadership skills, and work with minimal supervision to be eligible for this post.
• Applicants must demonstrate motivation, proactivity, and aptitude to fulfil responsibilities upon appointment to the role to be considered as an asset for this post.

Work setting

They must be bilingual in French and English to be eligible for this post.
