Staff Legal Counsel for Digital Rights

Join CIPPIC, the pioneering public interest technology law clinic in Canada. In this position, you will engage in litigation, policy advocacy, and strategic initiatives that impact emerging technologies. Collaborate with a diverse team, supervise law students, and participate in legislative reforms affecting digital rights. Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to litigation on digital rights issues
- Engage in multi-stakeholder policy processes
- Prepare legal opinions and policy briefs
- Supervise law students in clinical programs
- Build partnerships with civil society and regulators
- Membership in good standing with Ontario Law Society
- Relevant legal practice or public interest experience
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent project management abilities
- Proficient in English or French; bilingual preferred
