Job Responsibility:
Position: Compliance Admin Support
Type: Contract Position (Please note this is 6-12 months temporary position to cover maternity leave with the chance of permanent role)
You will be working in the Compliance Team within our Supply Chain system. As a Compliance Admin Support , you will assist the Senior Compliance Manager with daily challenges as they relate to GRC (Government, Risk and Compliance). Your function will include but are not limited to:
· Assisting the Senior Compliance Manager to administer all processes, procedures and documents, including implementing all policies and recommended ways to minimize risk.
· Supporting, documenting, developing, updating records for implementing international product compliance regulations, policies and procedures.
· Providing support to in-house regulatory compliance related issues and assisting with communication with vendors and factories.
· Providing support to compliance management plans, activities and records.
· Collecting and maintaining all compliance documents such as CARB, SDS, SDS, LHAMA, TRA, Lacey Act details, etc.
· Preparing Test Requests for product lines and communicating with third party labs and vendors.
· Reviewing and entering the test charge invoices and comparing them against internal compliance account monitoring system.
· Assisting vendors to coordinate with third party laboratory on product testing.
· Reviewing and entering Bill of Material with vendors on all products in compliance related systems.
· Collecting, monitoring and documenting all compliance related information from vendors/factories.
· Assisting the Compliance Team with the Testing Program in place. Including daily communication with third party laboratories, factories and vendors around the world, primarily in Asia and arranging for product testing with external laboratories, monitor reports, keep track of test reports, and prepare material declarations and certifications.

· Effective working under pressure in a fast paced environment.
· Exceptional use of memory.
· High degree of discretion relating to department confidential and proprietary information.
Additional Information:
· 8 hour working days, Monday through Friday.
· Working in an office environment with a diverse and fun team.
· Salary review and potential increase each year.
· Annual bonus available each year.
· 10 paid personal days per year in addition to paid vacation.
· 3 weeks' vacation offered after 2 years.
· Health and Dental benefits offered after 3 months.
· Hybrid Work from Home policy 1 day per week (subject to workload needs and after probation period)

Prerequisites:
· 2-5 years' experience in a similar role preferably within a consume product or import/distribution environment. Experience within other industries with a legal scope will be considered.
· Post-Secondary education in an associated field.
· Previous experience working with or managing projects within the scope of Canadian or US Federal Agencies (FDA, EPA, CEPA, HC, FTP, USPTO, CIPO, or CFIA) and compliance authorities is an asset.
