Chief Estimator: Project Cost Management

Seeking a Chief Estimator with project costing expertise in a hybrid work environment. Utilize your professional skills to provide exceptional estimate preparation and financial analysis for construction projects. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for preparing comprehensive estimates, analyzing tenders, and developing economic feasibility studies. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, showcasing your capability to handle large project estimations with confidence and precision. Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed budgets for labor and material costs
- Supervise project cash flow and financial projections
- Collaborate with contractors on cost adjustments
- Maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors
- Submit clear, actionable estimate reports and bids
- 5+ years of estimating experience in construction
- Expertise in estimating software
- Excellent communication abilities, written and verbal
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
- Experience estimating projects of varying sizes
