The challenges that await you

Under the authority of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving sludge treatment processes to enhance the value of municipal biosolids from the City of Laval's Water Resource Recovery Stations (StaRRE). Taking into account the objectives of strategic planning and the priorities of the operational plan, he acts as a specialist in biosolids management, organic materials, and agro-environment. He is capable of analyzing and monitoring the operation of sludge treatment systems. He makes recommendations and implements changes to increase their efficiency. He advises and supports the organization by issuing recommendations to ensure the smooth running of activities and the sustainability of the biosolids recovery process. He participates in conducting studies and analyses in support of projects related to wastewater treatment or environmental matters.

The ideal profile for us

• Hold a bachelor's degree in bioresource engineering or
  agro-environmental engineering or any other
  relevant bachelor's degree for the position;
• Be a member of the Ordre des agronomes du Québec
  Have 6 years of relevant experience.
