Digital Marketing Media Coordinator

Job Responsibility:

Steamworks Brewery Co. is looking for a creative and organized Digital Marketing Media Coordinator to support Rascal (@rascalbeverage), our bold new line of ready-to-drink cocktails. This role offers the opportunity to help build the digital presence of one of BC's newest RTD brands. Along with managing Rascal's social media, you'll put your design skills to work creating everything from brand-specific point-of-sale materials and merch items to promotional graphics and print assets for both Rascal and Steamworks Brewing Co.

As the Digital Marketing Media Coordinator, you'll manage Rascal's online presence, create engaging content, and support the design of both digital and print assets. You'll work closely with our marketing team to develop campaigns that reflect the brand's bold and playful personality.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced, creative role, ideal for someone looking to grow in the beverage and marketing industry. This position will be out of our head office in Burnaby, BC. Full-time in-office work is required for this position (with some flexibility).

Duties and Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation:

· Manage and grow Rascal's social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)

· Concept, shoot, and edit photo and video content (both in front of and behind the camera)

· Create and schedule engaging posts and stories that drive reach and engagement

· Collaborate on brand campaigns, giveaways, influencer partnerships, and paid ad development

· Monitor social trends and apply them in relevant, brand-aligned ways

· Track and report on content performance and adjust strategies accordingly

Graphic Design & Visual Branding:

· Design marketing materials for both Rascal and Steamworks Brewing Co., including

- Social media graphics

- Posters and flyers (in-store, restaurants, etc.)

- Merchandise (shirts, hats, etc.)

- POS and in-store displays

· Ensure brand consistency and production readiness

· Prepare and export print-ready files; liaise with external printers and suppliers

· Conceptualize visual themes for seasonal promotions, campaigns, and product launches

Campaign Development:

· Assist in the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and in-store channels

· Support the launch of seasonal releases, promotions, and brand events

· Create and run paid social ads with guidance from the marketing team

· Help organize and execute on-site activations and experiential marketing

What We're Looking for:

· 0-2 years of experience in a marketing, content, or social media role (or equivalent education)

· A strong visual eye and experience creating content for social platforms

· Photography and videography skills (and a willingness to jump in front of the camera when needed)

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva

· Comfortable writing fun, on-brand copy for captions, stories, and ads

· Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, TikTok, and analytics tools

· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines

· A proactive, self-starting mindset and a collaborative spirit

· Experience in the beverage/alcohol industry is a major plus
