Junior Procurement & Quoting Coordinator

Want to learn how the mechanical construction industry actually works?

We're looking for a Junior Procurement & Quoting Coordinator to join Broadway Refrigeration — a great entry point for someone who is organized, commercially minded and interested in building a career in construction, mechanical contracting, estimating or procurement.

You don't need to arrive knowing every HVAC supplier in Vancouver. We'll teach you.

You'll learn the vendor landscape across the Lower Mainland, how equipment and materials are sourced, how pricing is built, how quotes come together and what it takes to turn a service recommendation into an approved job.

What You'll Do

• Request and organize pricing from suppliers and subcontractors


• Assist with preparing customer quotations


• Source equipment, parts and materials for upcoming work


• Build relationships with vendors throughout the Lower Mainland


• Compare supplier pricing, availability and lead times


• Assist with purchase orders and procurement


• Follow up on outstanding pricing and material requirements


• Work with technicians, project managers, service and sales teams to understand job requirements


• Help maintain accurate costing and quotation information


• Learn how labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors and margins come together to build a job


• Take on increasingly complex quotes and procurement responsibilities as your knowledge develops

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone at the beginning of their career who is sharp, organized, confident on the phone and eager to learn.

You might have a diploma or degree in business, construction, engineering technology, supply chain or another related area, or you may simply have the right combination of curiosity and common sense.

You don't need years of mechanical experience. You do need to be willing to learn products, ask questions, chase information and become someone the team can rely on.
