Assistant Innovation Manager Consumer Brands

Drive consumer-led innovation at Bimbo Canada through market insight, concept development, and cross-functional project leadership across trusted food brands.
As Assistant Innovation Manager, you will guide initiatives from insight through Stage Gate, commercialization, launch, and learning. The work combines consumer research, analytical thinking, creative development, and business case building. You will support the innovation pipeline and longer-term roadmap across Bimbo Canada’s portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate consumer, category, trend, and competitive learning into opportunities
- Develop innovation briefs, ideas, concepts, and business cases
- Lead assigned projects through Stage Gate and launch approval
- Coordinate Brand Marketing, Finance, Sales, Operations, and external partners
- Track launch performance and apply post-launch learning
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or related discipline
- Two or more years of consumer-packaged goods experience
- Exposure to innovation from insight through commercialization
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and organization skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital software
