Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Assistant

Job Responsibility:
Purpose: The Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Assistant will assist the Event Team Leaders in the planning and logistics for the Schulich Community Start-up events, and VIP Guest Speaking and Dream Team Events. This position will also support data gathering and reporting requirements for the Executive in Residence. Education: Some post secondary education. Preferably a current SSB student. Experience: 1-2 years' experience working in a busy office setting, ideally performing event planning and execution both face-to-face, as well as virtually through social media platforms/channels. Skills: Excellent customer service, research and data analtyical skills.
A solid working knowledge of excel is required.
Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills (especially, with the ability to be concise and clear).
Able to learn quickly, able to handle a high volume of customer service inquiries, be detail oriented and be able to multi-task.
Ability to work with various computer software applicaitons
