Accounting Manager for Clio in Vancouver

Join Clio as an Accounting Manager for an 18-month contract in Vancouver, leading a high-performing finance team. Your expertise in people leadership and cross-functional collaboration is essential to success here. As a key player in Clio's Finance team, you'll manage the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role requires a CPA with a strong background in complex accounting research and policy design. You'll also mentor junior accountants while ensuring scalable financial processes in our high-growth SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior and intermediate accountants to enhance their skills
- Manage month-end close and general ledger operations
- Oversee financial reporting and note disclosures
- Lead external audits and compliance processes
- Design operating procedures for high-quality accounting records
- CPA designation with 5+ years accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
- Proven management experience in multi-entity environments
- Expertise in internal controls and compliance
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
