Robertson Restoration is a highly established and reputable General Contracting company with over 50 years experience specializing in Historical Architectural Building Restoration. Located in Brantford, we operate throughout Southern Ontario. Our strengths are in building envelope, new masonry, and masonry restoration; slate, cedar, synthetic, copper, and other traditional roofing, and decorative metals; custom woodworking and woodwork restoration; construction of unique structural elements; traditional plaster and finishes, and general construction.

Position: Compliance Coordinator

Health & Safety Duties

· Meeting project timelines for COR Certification.

· Continual improvement of our Health & Safety Program including participation on JHSC and worker engagement.

· Visiting our work sites to conduct training and field audits.

· Carrying out annual COR Internal Audits.

· Completing research pertaining to health and safety as required.

· Following up with workers on the completion of H&S compliance forms.

· Project start-up support.

HR Duties

· Onboarding new employees and coordination of hiring documentation.

· Handling HR related matters as they occur (disciplinary actions, ad postings, employee screening, legislative requirements).

Security Duties

· Leading the process of obtaining security clearance checks.

· Liaising with workers and subtrades to ensure timeliness of applications.

Other Duties

· Assist with administrative tasks (payroll, payables, reimbursables, etc.)

· Assist and support project operations team objectives.

Desired Experience and Skills

· Highly organized with strong written and oral communications skills

· Self-motivated and is capable of setting and meeting deadlines.

· Ability to adapt and identify areas for improvement.

· A desire to grow and learn in the position.

· A friendly and positive attitude.

· Strong computer skills with proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Experience with Health & Safety and COR safety program.

· General knowledge of the construction industry.

· Own transportation is required.

Salary: From $50,264.96 per year
