As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance, repairs, and warranty work. You will play an important role in creating a positive customer experience by understanding their concerns, providing clear service recommendations, preparing accurate estimates, and coordinating with our service technicians to ensure quality and timely repairs.

The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and knowledgeable about automotive service, with a genuine interest in building lasting customer relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet customers in person and over the phone, identify their vehicle service needs, and provide a welcoming, professional experience.
• Service Recommendations: Listen to customer concerns, explain recommended maintenance and repairs, and provide accurate estimates of costs and completion times.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule service appointments, coordinate with technicians, and help ensure repairs and maintenance are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Customer Communication: Keep customers informed of their vehicle’s repair progress, address questions or concerns, and communicate any additional service recommendations.
• Customer Education: Advise customers on routine maintenance, vehicle care, and recommended service intervals to support vehicle performance and safety.
• Sales and Promotions: Promote dealership service and parts offerings, maintenance packages, and available specials or discounts by identifying relevant opportunities to meet customer needs.
• Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with customers after service to ensure their questions have been addressed and they are satisfied with their experience.
• Documentation and Administration: Maintain accurate service records, repair orders, estimates, and other required documentation.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow dealership procedures and applicable safety and environmental regulations.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager or Fixed Operations Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

Successful candidates will possess:

• Automotive Experience: Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience is considered as asset.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with a friendly, engaging, and professional attitude.
• Automotive Knowledge: A solid understanding of automotive maintenance, repairs, and service recommendations, with the ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with automotive service software and other relevant computer applications.
• CDK Experience: Familiarity with CDK dealership management software is considered an asset.
• Teamwork: The ability to work collaboratively with service technicians, management, and other dealership team members.
• Problem-Solving: The ability to address customer concerns professionally and work toward effective resolutions.
• Driver’s Abstract: A clean driver’s abstract must be provided as part of the hiring process.
• Background Check: Successful applicants must undergo a background check.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay
