In the Counter Sales role, our employees assist customers in fulfilling their order needs in a fast-paced exciting HVAC environment. At times, they also assist Warehouse team members in pulling orders or finding parts to be able to answer a customer question. Hard workers grow rapidly in our environment. If you have HVAC experience, all the better because for you we'll pay market rates. All Counter Sales associates require good keyboarding skills, great communication, strong safety awareness, and customer pizzazz! You'll also need to have good attention to detail, accuracy & professionalism, a great attendance record, and the ability to get along well with others.

What you'll be doing:

• Completes assigned training successfully and applies learnings as needed and directed
• Performs general warehouse work as directed, including working in any and all departments within the branch
• Promotes a safe work environment by quickly addressing unsafe conditions such as damaged product, clutter, cleanliness of work area, and clears customer passage
• Effectively communicates with management upon arrival and departure for the day, at breaks, and at meal periods including any periods at which they will not be at their work station
• Wears proper safety equipment and gear performing proper safety inspections on material handling equipment
• Conducts aisle responsibilities as assigned
• Conducts timely and frequent queue checks throughout the day, responding in a timely and effective manner

Preferred Job Requirements

• High School diploma or its GED equivalent and some college in business, sales, or related field
• 3 or more years' experience with customer service and related functions.
• 1 or more years HVAC experience

Minimum Job Requirements

• High School or its GED equivalent
• 2 or more years' experience with customer service and related functions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
• Use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems and meeting and virtual platform sharing relative to the needs of the job.
• Minimum keyboarding skills of 40 words per minute
