Head of Governance for SGL Canada

Direct SGL Canada's governance and strategy as Chief Agent, ensuring compliance and aligning with SCOR’s global vision. This strategic leadership role enhances client satisfaction and workplace culture in a hybrid setup. In your role as Chief Agent & Head of SGL Canada, you'll manage the overall leadership, compliance, and financial soundness of the branch. You will cultivate a collaborative culture while guiding the senior management team to achieve strategic growth within the life reinsurance market. Your expertise will be pivotal in fostering relationships with regulators, clients, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with Canadian insurance regulations
- Drive initiatives for profitable growth in reinsurance
- Develop and implement risk management policies
- Promote engagement in organizational culture
- Strengthen SCOR’s reputation within the Canadian market
- 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience
- Extensive experience in executive leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of financial and regulatory frameworks
- Proven ability to manage complex market strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
