Seaspan Taxation Manager Role

Seaspan is searching for a Taxation Manager to oversee tax compliance and reporting while supporting strategic tax planning. Enjoy a hybrid work environment post-onboarding in this pivotal role. In this position, you will manage all corporate and indirect tax activities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with various tax authorities. Your skills in tax forecasting and creating management reports will support business decisions and improve overall tax strategies. A strong understanding of SR&ED and international tax is essential for success. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax returns and financial reports
- Develop and implement tax-planning strategies
- Ensure effective internal controls for tax systems
- Liaise with external auditors for tax audits
- Support integration of tax-related systems for efficiency
- Minimum 5 years of corporate tax experience
- CPA certification is essential
- Strong knowledge of indirect and international taxation
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Familiarity with advanced tax reporting software
