People And Culture Business Partner Role (North Vancouver)

Become a People and Culture Business Partner with the City of North Vancouver, committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
This 18-month position supports the People & Culture department under the Manager of People & Culture Services. It focuses on employee relations, organizational design, and compliance with HR policies while guiding leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on employee and labour relations matters
- Manage disability case processes for affected employees
- Develop resource planning and organizational design strategies
- Interpret and apply HR policies and collective agreements
- Coach and mentor leaders on effective people management
Requirements
- Degree in human resources or related field
- 3-5 years of HR Business Partner experience
- CPHR designation preferred
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft and ATS systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Drive people-centric initiatives while enhancing the City of North Vancouver's workplace culture
