Superintendent of Dock Operations in North Vancouver

Join SSA Marine Canada Ltd. as a Superintendent overseeing dock operations in North Vancouver. This leadership role focuses on safety, efficiency, and supervising a unionized workforce. In this full-time permanent position, you will report to the General Manager of Lynnterm. You will oversee terminal utilization, coordinate vessel handling, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Enforce workplace safety programs and procedures
• Develop and communicate operational procedures and safety documentation
• Supervise unionized employees, ensuring compliance with standards
• Schedule and monitor dock operations and resources
• Liaise with customers and stakeholders for vessel operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years leadership experience with unionized workforce
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and cargo operations
• Experience in marine terminal or heavy industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
