Demand Planner in Food Logistics

Elevate your career as a Demand Planner with a respected warehousing and logistics company. This role focuses on inventory management and ensuring stable food supply across Canada and the US. This position is ideal for an experienced candidate with a strong background in inventory management and food logistics. You’ll interact with multiple teams, clients, and stakeholders to oversee a consistent supply of food products. The role demands predicting needs and resolving challenges proactively to ensure smooth operations throughout the year. Key Responsibilities:
• Predict and forecast food ingredient supply requirements
• Oversee inventory management principles like FIFO and Min/Max
• Ensure compliance with Canada and US import practices
• Coordinate with offshore and domestic factories and traders
• Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders Requirements:
• Minimum 5–10 years in inventory management disciplines
• Experience in food industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of import/export practices
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively Become the inventory expert and drive consistent food product delivery in this dynamic role.
