Senior Estimator for Environmental Remediation

Become part of Dokainish & Company as a Senior Estimator, focusing on environmental remediation and nuclear decommissioning. This full-time role supports remote/hybrid working arrangements and requires site visits to Canadian nuclear facilities. As a key professional within our program controls team, you will lead the creation of detailed cost estimates for complex nuclear projects encompassing decommissioning, waste management, and contaminated site remediation. We seek candidates with direct exposure to nuclear environments and a knack for defending cost estimates throughout various review cycles. Your role significantly impacts project outcomes in a structured, milestone-driven context. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain baseline cost estimates for nuclear projects
- Generate detailed Bases of Estimates (BOE)
- Utilize various estimating techniques based on project specifics
- Collaborate on cost-loading and resource planning
- Input cost uncertainty metrics into risk analysis
- Minimum 10 years in capital project estimation
- Solid background in nuclear decommissioning
- Excellent BOE documentation skills
- AACE certification preferred
- Eligible for nuclear facility security clearance
