Infrastructure Environmental Manager Role

Join Aecon Civil as an Infrastructure Environmental Manager, overseeing environmental compliance across large-scale construction projects. This role focuses on sustainability and effective environmental practices. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects at Aecon Civil adhere to environmental legislation and safety standards. With a strong focus on establishing and maintaining environmental management systems, you'll lead project teams to achieve compliance with ISO 14001. Your responsibilities will include directing audits, engaging with stakeholders, and overseeing the preparation of environmental documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all environmental monitoring and compliance initiatives
- Drive the implementation of Environmental Management Plans
- Liaise with governmental authorities and stakeholders
- Develop new environmental practices and training as needed
- Prepare comprehensive environmental performance reports
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in project management roles
- Strong knowledge of federal and provincial environmental laws
- Proficiency with HSE reporting software
- Excellent written communication and leadership skills
