Honorarium Position
Overview
The Deputy Services Commissioner shall assist the Services Commissioner and shall adhere to and follow the official ASUS policy as outlined in the manual and as interpreted by Council and the Assembly. The Deputy Services Commissioner is responsible for the Services Commissioner. A large focus of the Deputy Services Commissioner will be to alert all Queen’s students, particularly those of Arts and Science, of all the Services available through ASUS. The Deputy Services Commissioner shall oversee and support ASUS Mentorship Program, Exchange Buddies, and ASUS Peer Tutoring.

Time Commitment and Remuneration
Term : May 1st, 2025 – April 30th, 2026
Hours : 4-6 hours per week
Honorarium : Awarded based on the Honorarium Grid in the Human Resources Policy ( Click here )

Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet with the Services Commissioner weekly to update on progress and plan initiatives.
- Determine a budget for marketing within Services along with the Services Commissioner and Vice-President.
- Hold a minimum of five (5) office hours per week.
- Meet regularly and oversee ASUS Mentorship Program, Exchange Buddies, and ASUS Peer Tutoring.
- Be responsible for the short-term marketing initiatives of the Commission, and contribute towards the long term marketing goals of the Commission.
- Plan and oversee special projects in the Services Commission with the Commissioner.
