Senior Document Controller - Multiple Projects

Overview

At the heart of our engineering projects, the Document Control team ensures that information is accurate, accessible, and compliant with project requirements. Their expertise supports collaboration across teams, enhances the quality of project deliverables, and maintains the traceability of critical data throughout the execution of complex projects.

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support multiple engineering projects and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality project documentation.

Your role

• Verify, control, register, issue, and file project documentation.
• Apply established document control processes and procedures to achieve project and organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with document management practices by performing the required quality assurance reviews and audits.
• Manage the numbering, filing, and archiving of technical documents, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate document control activities with internal teams, clients, and other project stakeholders.
• Act as a resource person for internal and external clients regarding documentation-related matters.
• Support users in the effective use of document management tools and compliance with established standards and procedures.

About you

• Ability to develop and manage document control systems, tools, processes, and procedures within the engineering, construction, and services sectors.
• Ability to effectively support contract administration, business operations, planning activities, and engineering functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Aconex, along with a functional understanding of standard database administration.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in document control within the EPCM industry.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written.*

* This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, specifically English, as you will interact with clients and suppliers who are primarily English-speaking and located outside of Quebec.
