Customer Service Representative – Order Processing / Inside Sales (Industrial Distribution)

Location: Mississauga, ON
Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience)

Overview

We are hiring a Customer Service Representative with experience in order processing, order entry, and inside sales support within an industrial or product-based environment .

This role supports a fast-paced industrial distribution operation , where you will work with mechanical and industrial products , handling customer orders, coordinating inventory, and supporting the full order-to-fulfillment process.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in industrial distribution, parts coordination, or inside sales environments who are comfortable working with systems, data, and high-volume workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume order entry and order processing in internal ERP systems
• Process purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently
• Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone , providing product and order support
• Prepare and provide quotes, product information, and order updates
• Coordinate with internal teams for inventory, sourcing, and order fulfillment
• Manage full order lifecycle : entry, tracking, backorders, and delivery updates
• Support inventory coordination and product availability checks
• Resolve customer issues related to orders, returns, and discrepancies
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation across systems

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in:
  • Customer Service (product-based environment), OR
  • Inside Sales, OR
  • Industrial distribution / supply chain / logistics
• Strong experience with order entry, order processing, or order management systems
• Experience using ERP or CRM systems and handling high-volume data entry
• Excellent communication skills (email and phone)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred (Strong Asset)

• Experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing support, or parts supply environments
• Exposure to mechanical or industrial products , such as:
  • Bearings
  • Power transmission components
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience in order desk, parts coordination, inside sales support, or inventory coordination

Work Schedule

• Full-time, permanent role
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM OR 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
