Server/Shift Leader

Artigiano Park Royal Grand Cafe
Café, Restaurant, Bar, Re-imagined. Artigiano is excited to continue to evolve and grow in our communities. Park Royal South is our newest addition: Artigiano Grand Café - savour, indulge, and elevate every moment around the table. We are seeking Full Time and Part Time Servers and Shift Leaders to join our new Park Royal Grand Café, located in West Vancouver. Must be available weekends and some weekdays.
What we're looking for
- Engage guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Strong knowledge or curiosity about ingredients and cooking styles
- Interest in learning about cocktails, beer and wine
- Committed to thoughtful, intuitive service
- Ability to knowledgeably guide guests through the menu
- Accurately taking and ringing in food and beverage orders
- Attention to detail as well as care for guest dietary restrictions and preferences
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize
- Preference for working in a team environment
- Penchant for cleanliness and an orderly work environment
- Flexible schedule that includes working nights and weekends
- WSET considered an asset
- Ability to lead a team and provide on-the-fly training
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of front of house restaurant experience
- Serving it Right
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs as well as long shifts standing, walking, and moving about
- Basic math and English grammatical skills are necessary
- Must have Sunday availability
