Belgard Kitchen is Hiring Servers/Bartenders/Shift Leaders!

Belgard Kitchen is located at 55 Dunlevy Ave in Railtown, sharing the space with Vancouver Urban Winery. The restaurant offers three different services: Weekday Lunch, Weekend Brunch, and Dinner seven nights a week.

Our evening service focuses on shared plates and a family-style of eating, fostering an environment where people can enjoy multiple dishes and experience the full menu.

As a winery, we highlight our made on-site BC VQA wine on tap as well as 31 other locally tapped BC Wines. In addition to this, we carry collaborative house beers from our friends at Four Winds Brewery, as well as some other rotating guest taps.

We're looking for well-rounded industry professionals who lead by example and embrace a detail-oriented, human-centric, fun, and caring work environment.

Bartender/Server/Shift Leader Qualifications: We’re looking for passionate hospitality professionals—folks who don't just clock in and out but show genuine love and fulfilment for the mission at hand. The right person understands that great service isn’t just about delivering food and drinks—it’s about creating meaningful connections and memorable experiences for every guest and team member.

Qualifications:

✅ Hospitality Mindset – You genuinely enjoy taking care of people, whether at work or in everyday life. You anticipate needs, create moments of connection, and thrive in an environment where service is an experience, not just a transaction.

✅ Bartending/Serving/Leading Experience – We are looking for a minimum of 2 years of solid restaurant or bar experience. This could look like high-volume, high-attention-to-detail, or great customer service-centred establishments. A strong candidate would possess a well-rounded understanding of beer, wine, cocktails, ingredients and culinary techniques, with an excitement for further understanding. Leadership experience is an asset on top of this.

✅ Guest-Focused Approach – You know how to read a table, engage with guests, and create a personalized experience that makes them want to return.

✅ Strong Work Ethic & Team Player – You show up ready to work, support your team, and take initiative without being asked. You thrive in a kind, skilled, and supportive work environment full of like-minded people passionate about hospitality.
