Senior Tax Manager

Our client, a global professional services firm specializing in tax and advisory services, is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the Global Compliance & Reporting (Tax) team supporting corporate and multinational clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capability, advanced technical tax expertise, and exceptional client relationship skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Tax Manager

Location: Vancouver, BC

Pay Range: $128k to $178k per year base salary, depending on experience.

What’s the Job?

• Manage and coordinate corporate tax compliance and tax provision engagements for clients
• Provide Canadian corporate tax services, including tax accounting, tax accrual reviews, and corporate income tax returns
• Assist clients with income tax audits and tax authority inquiries
• Identify and deliver tax planning opportunities and special tax engagements
• Coach, develop, and support the growth of junior tax professionals while contributing to team objectives

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a professional accounting designation
• Completion or ongoing pursuit of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course or a Master of Tax degree
• Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in corporate tax, including senior-level responsibility
• Strong leadership, organizational, and client relationship management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset
