Grants Specialist at United Way Calgary

Transform your skills as a Grants Specialist with United Way of Calgary in a hybrid role. Focus on institutional giving and proposal development while managing grants efficiently. This position involves coordinating proposals and managing institutional funding deadlines. Reporting to the Manager of Foundations & Planned Giving, you will ensure quality submissions and effective reporting for all funders. Your expertise will directly support cultivation and stewardship strategies across departments. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the institutional funding pipeline and deadlines
• Draft and coordinate Letters of Inquiry and grant proposals
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting for all funders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for proposal input
• Identify and qualify foundation prospects through research Requirements:
• 3–6 years in grants or proposal development
• Robust writing and editing skills for clear communication
• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
• Knowledge in nonprofit or community-focused work Utilize your project management skills to enhance United Way's impact in Calgary.
