Owen Sound Lab Services Manager
Brightshores Health System
Take charge as the Lab Services Manager at Brightshores Health System in Owen Sound. This full-time role ensures the delivery of patient-centered laboratory services aligned with best practices. As the Lab Services Manager, your primary responsibilities will involve overseeing operational performance and quality management while fostering a collaborative culture. You will work alongside administrative and medical leaders to enhance service integration and patient safety initiatives throughout six sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery of high-quality laboratory services for patients
- Maintain compliance with quality assurance and regulations
- Oversee financial and human resource responsibilities in the lab
- Support continuous improvement and strategic planning efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective outcomes
- Relevant degree or certification in Medical Laboratory Technology
- At least six years of clinical lab experience in leadership roles
- Current registration with CMLTO and certification from CSMLS
- Advanced knowledge in key laboratory disciplines
- Strong analytical, financial, and leadership skills
