Job Responsibility:
About The Role
As a NA Jr. Payroll Administrator, you will be working with team members through the full Canada and US payroll cycle to ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner. You will be responsible for updating the payroll systems with details relating to new hires, termination, benefit changes, rate changes and tax-related updates. Additionally, you will be responsible for assisting with payroll checks and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Liaise with People Team regarding payroll changes on a regular basis
- Update the payroll memo with details received from People Team and ensuring all changes regarding starters, terminations, leave and rate increase are processed accurately
- Work closely with Payroll Administrators to Process the full payroll cycle and maintain the payroll systems
- Work closely with payroll provider to ensure accuracy
- Run and import hours from the timesheet system onto the payroll systems
- Completing required controls and risk checks to ensure payroll has been accurately updated
- Respond to queries from employees
- Adhoc tasks and projects assigned by management
About You
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Able to work to deadlines
- Variety of different State taxes legislations
- Professional qualification or membership
- ADP WFN previous experience
