The Liberty Entertainment Group has partnered with world renowned Michelin Star Chef Daniele Corona to open the firof DaNico restaurant are currently looking for a Junior Pastry Chef , experienced with contemporary and innovative Italian cuisine, to join our team.
DaNico Restaurant is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Pastry Chef to join the team! The Junior Pastry Chef will prepare a variety of desserts, pastries or other sweet goods in our pastry production.
The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, flexibility and problem solving skills. Need to have a minimum of 2 years work experience. Adhere to health and safety standards to provide clients with the best possible serving.
Responsibilities:
- The primary focus will be supporting the Pastry Team Members.
- This individual must have the ability to work independently, be a team player, manage complexity, work efficiently, be flexible and have a positive attitude.
- Will be able to take direction, follow a recipe/identify potential errors, execute recipes from start to finish, and have a great eye for details.
- Participates in providing creative solutions for any hurdles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Seeks to develop pastry skills and understand the business.
- Contribute to a positive team culture
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the standards as set out by the Executive Pastry Chef
- Contribute to cleanliness and strict sanitization of pastry department, main and restaurant level
- Follow all operating procedures that impact the effectiveness of the operation
- Contribute to that all food preparation equipment is being used safety and correctly and that it is cleaned and maintained after each use
- Assist were needed in Daily Food Ordering for entire Pastry program
- Ensure that food waste is recorded and kept to a minimum.
