Hospitality and Retail Sales Key Holder

Opening and Closing of the Winery retail store.

Acting Lead when Supervisor/ Manager are absent.

Hospitality and Retail Associates are responsible for providing consistent, outstanding hospitality to all visitors while focusing on retail and Beverage club sales.

Ideal candidates for this position will have experience in the hospitality, sales and/or retail industry, with beverage knowledge (wine, beer, cider, spirits) being an important asset.

Our chosen candidates must be energetic, personable, dependable, upbeat and responsible. Candidates must be available to work flexible shifts, including Evenings, Weekends and holidays.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Achieving group and individual sales targets.

· Assisting customers with tastings and purchases.

· Conducting entertaining and informative tours and presentation about the winery, brewery, distillery, including performing structured tastings for tour groups

· Providing exceptional and professional customer service.

· Use a computer-operated point-of-sale system and perform opening and closing duties.

· Assisting with on-site and off-site special events

· Providing food and beverage service in both formal and informal settings

· Stocking shelves and fridges with beverage product and merchandise

· Performing general housekeeping duties

· Any other duties and responsibilities as required

Requirements:

. Must be available Sundays

.Must have own transportation

· Smart Serve Certification

· 19 years of age or older

· Ability work well within a team-focused environment

· Motivation to exceed sales targets

· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

· Responsible, dependable, trustworthy, ambitious and goal-oriented

· Retail / Hospitality experience is a must-have

· Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs

· Ability to stand and walk around for long periods of time

· Previous serving experience, wine / beer knowledge would be an asset

· Must be available to work on Days, Evenings, Holidays, Weekdays and Weekends
